Netflix, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Animation, has officially announced the development of the second part of the popular animated film KPop Demon Hunters, which achieved global success since its initial release.
Directors and writers Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans will return to lead the project once again, with preliminary plans to release the new film in 2029.
This announcement comes as part of the start of a multi-year exclusive agreement between the duo and Netflix, aimed at developing, writing, and directing new animation projects.
